Materials & making
Mushroom brown coloured glass is cased in a layer of clear, mouth blown by master glassblowers into wooden moulds and shaped by master craftsmen to create a rectangular form with gently rounded corners. Rims are scissor cut leaving a thick, rounded finish. Scissor cutting is the most skilled of finishing techniques.
